This German propaganda movie was part of a U.S. Navy archive compiled during WWII, and acquired by Periscope Film. Made at the outbreak of WWII, this film includes scenes of the German invasion of Poland, including pre-WWII shots of Danzig. It also includes Japanese attacks in China. Also features a long segment celebrating the Kriegsmarine, and featuring footage of the launch of the battleship Bismarck and the Scharnhorst. Adolph Hitler reviews the Gorch Fock training ship and other naval vessels.
